ORAL PROJECT
You could present a dialogue, a drama or
comedy sketch, make a presentation, tell a story, etc.
Think about your audience: try to avoid
subjects which are going to be too technical, for example.
It’s usually more interesting and
enjoyable to prepare and present the project in pairs or groups of three.
The project should take between 5 and 10 minutes, but should never
exceed 12 minutes!
You’ll need to fix a deadline for
presenting your projects and tell your teacher. The presentations will start the second day of class after the Easter holidays. Some key points to think about while you
prepare your project:
§ What can you learn from preparing and presenting a spoken project?
§ How can you involve others in your presentation?
§ Can you use some of the new words and phrases you’re learning?
§ What material can you give the class to help them follow and/or
participate in your presentation or sketch?
