Thanksgiving continues to be a very important holiday in the US when families make every effort to come together and celebrate the holiday in a family member´s home. On an interesting note, the Friday after Thanksgiving has gained international fame as well due to the incredible amount of shopping and sales available that day. It has been called Black Friday since it is one of the few days of the year when the stores`s sales exceed their costs and thus putting their numbers "in the black". It has gotten so competitive that every year there are incidents where shoppers have been injured or trampled waiting to get into the stores when they open. The stores have changed their operating hours so that some of them even open at midnight on Thursday night."

ReplyDeleteIt´s celebration Thanksgiving. That day is very important for american, because is very old. This day every family together to feast Thanksgiving´s day. This celebrations started to feast about sexteen-twenty. The Thanksgiving is the fourth tuesday of november. Every family together for eat typic as corns, potatoes, pumpkin, and other.
DeleteThe friday after is sales available in the some stores, this day is know as "Black Friday". Many people stay in the door before to open, is very dangerous because the people can be injured and trampled. This Day begin Christmas shopping.
I like go to America to begin this day and shopping.

ReplyDeleteThaksgiving day is a day very important to USA and Canada. This party celebrates the fourth thursday in November. Families have dinner together and they eat typical meals: turkey with potatoes and blueberry´s sauce, corn barbecue, green beans,..... Shops organise a show in Manhattan´s streets. This celebration was religious when it became to celebrate, actually it´s not religious, it´s a secular party.
